Yes. Ukumehame Beach is approximately 20–25 minutes south of Lahaina and the Kaanapali Resorts. Lahaina and Kaanapali are both located on Maui’s West Side, making Ukumehame Beach a convenient option for visitors staying in those areas.
Yes. Kihei is about 15 minutes away, approximately 10–12 miles, while Wailea is about 20 minutes away, approximately 14–16 miles. Both Kihei and Wailea are located on Maui’s South Side.
Yes. Private group lessons are available for larger groups who want to experience surfing together. Families, friends, and other groups traveling together can arrange a private group surf experience.

The youngest age we take for regular surf lessons is 5 years old. We can also offer a tandem surf session as a private lesson, where an instructor brings the child on their own board, with the child surfing on the front of the board and the instructor on the back. Kids need to be able to swim comfortably. A life jacket or water wings are only allowed during a tandem surf session.
